I am staying in my daughters room here on the Big Island. The first morning here, I saw this little gecko on her curtains, went to get my camera and of course it was gone. The next morning it was back and I was able to get a picture of it. Lisa wanted to make sure that I scared it out but of course I didn't. Life would be no fun if I did that as she is scared of bugs, even tiny geckos. And yes I am A turkey for not listening to her.

Yesterday I rushed home to try to get pictures of the full moon rising. As I came around Kahana Bay I could see it just starting to come up. Of course the car I was following was going the speed limit. When I got home I rushed in to get my camera and tripod and ran down to the very dark beach by my house. Felt better as a neighbor and his wife where already there. Setting up the tripod in the dark was fun. Here are 3 pictures. One just sharpened and the other two I messed with shot as and contrast in CS4. Don't know which one I really like. Was going to go back tonight but it's raining cats and dogs.

I have asthma and the vog makes it act up. I took this picture of the mountains near my house, just to show my Wyoming family. The kittens are a new addition to my family. They are truly brats, attacking everything in sight. But on the other hand they are soo much fun. I have always been a cat lover and now have 5.

My trip to see my Wyoming family. New grandson Keanu Kawika-Bryan Duarte and 3 year old Kailer and their sisters, Kierra and Mackinsay, and of course daughter-in-law Roxi and son Sam. Had loads of fun and now miss all of them dearly. Kailer of course thought I was there just to play with him and of course I did. What else are grandmothers for but to play with the grandkids and most importantly is to spoil them, so I did.
